The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) program is established under 15 U.S.C. § 637(m) and implemented at 13 CFR Part 127. An SBA certification for small businesses at least 51% owned and controlled by women, providing access to set-aside federal contracts in industries where women-owned firms are underrepresented.
