Fonteum maintains a directory of U.S. local providers anchored on federal and state public records. Every fact we display cites its source, last-checked date, and limitations. We use CMS NPPES, CMS PECOS, Florida DBPR, CMS Care Compare, HRSA HPSA, BLS OEWS, BEA Regional, and US Census state population estimates.

Fonteum analysis is clearly distinguished from the source datasets we cite. CMS ratings appear as CMS ratings; Fonteum counts appear as Fonteum counts. We do NOT independently rate, inspect, verify, endorse, or guarantee any provider.

- No fake ratings. CMS ratings appear as CMS ratings. Fonteum counts appear as Fonteum counts.
- No unsupported trust claims about providers. The AGENTS.md v1.2 banned-word list enumerates the phrases Fonteum never applies to listed businesses (anchored at the public repo root). Where a credential is cited it is sourced and dated.
- Every research finding has a methodology, limitations, source, and snapshot date.
- Tier-1 sources never attach to individual provider profiles — they appear in /research aggregates only.
